Indian judiciary has a hierarchial structure with Supreme court at the top at national level, followed by high courts in each of Indian state and then courts at district and town levels.
The courts in India normally follow a six day week with Sunday as weekly off. Courts in India mostly follow the holidays declared by central Government of India. In addition to this courts in India have a long holidays during summers in the month of May, June and July for about 8 weeks.
