Raksha Bandhan 2010, Rakhi festival, RakshaBandhan sms, cards, greetings

2010, Rakhi festival, RakshaBandhan sms, cards, greetings. 2010 Indian Festival, Fairs and Events latest news and updated reports. Rakhi- is a Hindu festival, which celebrates the relationship between brothers and sisters.

Happy RakshaBandan is celebrated on the full moon of the month of Shraavana (Shravan Poornima

). Raksha Bandan festival is marked by the tying of a rakhi, or holy thread by the sister on the wrist of her brother. The brother in return offers a gift to his sister and vows to look after her as she presents sweets to her brother. The brother and sister traditionally feed one another sweets. t is not necessary that the rakhi be given only to a blood brother; any male can be “adopted” as a brother by tying a rakhi on the person, that is “blood brothers and sisters”, whether they are cousins or a good friend. Indian history is replete with women asking for protection, through rakhi, from men who were neither their brothers, nor Hindus themselves.

Raksha Bandhan sms

Kaamyabi tumhare kadam chume,
Khushiyan tumhare charo aur ho,
Par bhagwan se itni prarthana karne ke liye,
tum mujhe kuch to commission do!
To my extremely lovable (but kanjoos) brother…
Just kidding as always.
“Happy Raksha Bandhan.”

“Sisters is probably the most competitive relationship within the family, but once sisters are grown, it becomes the strongest relationship.”

Holi is Colorful, Diwali is Lightful and Brightful, Rakhi has made our relationship Powerful.
