Kali Chaudas 2010

2010 date is on November 4 in this year. or Kali Choudas Puja or is also known as Kal Chaturdashi, is observed on the fourteenth day in Ashwin month mainly in Gujarat. KaliChaudas is the second day of Diwali festival.

KaliChoudas is observed on the day before Diwali. Goddess Kali puja will be celebrated on this on Kali Chaudas day. On this day, Goddess Mahakali or Shakti demolished demon Raktavija. In Gujarat, the day is also dedicated to Hanuman worship. Diwali or Deepavali is popularly known as the festival of lights. Diwali is the most important festival of the year and is celebrated with families performing traditional activities together in their homes. Deepavali is an official holiday in India.
