Mahanavami was Monday celebrated with fervor and enthusiasm at Durga temples. Maha navami is celebrated on Ashwin Shukla Paksha Navami and on this day,the goddess Durga is worshiped in the form of Aparajita, by offering her sugarcane stalks.
